Celebrating Cybersecurity Excellence
We are thrilled to announce a significant achievement for our Year 13 A-Level Computer Science students. During their first year in the Sixth Form, these ambitious students chose to undertake the CyberEPQ qualification. This programme goes beyond the standard curriculum, offering additional skills and awareness in cybersecurity.
The qualification culminates in a comprehensive research report and a presentation before a panel of industry professionals. This rigorous process not only deepens their understanding but also hones their presentation and analytical abilities. We congratulate all students on their hard work.
What is the CyberEPQ?
The Cyber EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) is a Level 3 qualification, equivalent to half an A-Level, that provides students with a foundation in cybersecurity, worth up to 28 UCAS points. The qualification offers a unique focus on cybersecurity, teaching both core modules and specialist areas like digital forensics and security testing, while developing essential academic and research skills.
