The Inclusion Team plays a key role in ensuring the provides high-quality inclusive education in which all pupils are supported to achieve well. The team works effectively with teaching staff, SLT, families and external agencies to identify pupils needs early. The team provides targeted and compassionate support for students to remove barriers to learning, participation and wellbeing.
The team supports students who may have social, emotional and mental health needs, SEND, attendance or behaviour concerns, and those who require additional pastoral or academic support. Through well planned provision, personalised support, reasonable adjustments and targeted interventions, the Inclusion Team ensures students can access the curriculum, make strong progress from their starting points and develop positive attitudes to learning.
A strong emphasis is placed on safeguarding, student voice and promoting students’ personal wellbeing and development.
