By parents and school teams working together with the support of other agencies, our attendance is STRONG.
We have delivered local support to other schools, regionally in local forums and at the annual ASCL conference, on our exemplary practice in improving whole school attendance and the attendance of vulnerable students. Our attendance strategy is EXEMPLARY.
Our school is in the 2nd decile for attendance in comparison with all schools nationally. This means that our attendance is in the top 20% for schools. This is a further improvement on last year.
Last year, 2024-2025, our school had above national average and above similar schools’ attendance for students in all of the different subgroups:
- All pupils
- Pupils with FSM
- Pupils with no FSM
- Pupils with SEN
- Pupils with no SEN

The particular strengths in our attendance data, according to the Department of Education for last academic year, include:
- Your attendance on Monday mornings was 93.5%, which is higher than 18 out of 20 similar schools.
- Your attendance on Tuesday mornings was 93.8%, which is higher than 18 out of 20 similar schools.
- Your attendance on Wednesday mornings was 94%, which is higher than 18 out of 20 similar schools.
