Dear Parents, Carers, and Members of our Academy Community,

I am absolutely delighted to share with you the official report from our recent Ofsted inspection, which took place on 12 May 2026. I am incredibly proud to announce that North Liverpool Academy continues to achieve the Expected Standard across all evaluated areas, with safeguarding standards fully met.

This outcome is a wonderful validation of the hard work, dedication, and passion that our students, staff, parents, and governors pour into our school every single day.

Our core academy motto - Aspire, Community, and Achieve - runs through everything we do, and it is clear from the report that the inspectors saw these values in action.

Driving Positive Change: Building Momentum

My appointment as Executive Principal in April of this year came at an incredibly exciting time for the Academy. I am delighted that the inspectors recognised the immediate impact of the crucial systems we have recently implemented.

Specifically, Ofsted highlighted how we have recently strengthened our teaching evaluation and professional training systems, which are already ensuring our classrooms remain high-quality, focused learning environments. Furthermore, the report praises the skilled team we have recently implemented to prioritise and enhance student wellbeing. These recent improvements show that North Liverpool Academy is an ambitious school on a continuous upward trajectory, and I look forward to working alongside our dedicated staff to embed and expand these successful initiatives.

Continuous Growth: Building on Our Success

This outcome marks another proud milestone in our academy's history. Since our last full inspection - and despite the shifting national landscape of education and changes to how Ofsted reports its findings - we have not stood still. This 2026 report proves that we have successfully maintained strong, stable standards while further accelerating our progress.

Our close-knit work with families has driven our attendance rates even higher, and our targeted learning support is delivering exceptionally strong outcomes for our disadvantaged pupils. We aren't just maintaining a standard; we are continuously elevating the experience of studying at North Liverpool Academy.

Looking Forward

While we are celebrating these fantastic highlights, we are an academy that never stands still. Our vision, shared alongside the Northern Schools Trust, is highly ambitious. We are already acting on Ofsted's constructive feedback to further refine how we track our internal progress and sharpen how we identify barriers to learning, ensuring no child is left behind.
